Located in the Gakenke District of northern Rwanda, Ruli Mountain is an area of high elevations, volcanic ash and some of the best coffee in the world. Coffee produced there is grown by small scale coffee farmers with an average of 165 coffee trees. They grow 100% Arabica beans, predominately the bourbon variety. This is a wet processed bean with a classic bittersweet balance. Dry fragrance ranges from floral (violets) and sweet red fruits to a more bittersweet chocolate.
